“How do you do it all?”
That's a question I get asked all. the. time.
And this is where I will spill all of the beans for you! All of the tools, resources, and platforms that go into running my businesses effectively.
Some of these suggestions include affiliate links – links that may provide you a discount, but never charge you more than you'd pay elsewhere – and I earn a small profit if you use them to sign-up. Some links aren't affiliate links, I just like them a bunch. I never list anything that I don't personally use and love!
I host all of my websites on WordPress. With my background at Facebook and current focus on Facebook marketing, WordPress makes installing the Facebook Pixel easy and effective. WordPress is robust, customizable, and the best option for most business owners with goals to grow and scale.
All of my domains, WordPress hosting packages, and email addresses were bought through GoDaddy. I have been very impressed with the customer service and technical support I have received from GoDaddy. As a mom and entrepreneur, I work odd hours and love that they offer 24/7 support!
I recently migrated many of my assets over to Kartra. The all-in-one business platform includes a “drag and drop” landing page builder, powerful video hosting, email marketing, membership hosting with affiliate capabilities, and more. Kartra is a powerhouse platform that has replaced ClickFunnels, Vimeo, and MailChimp for me – and I LOVE it!
Dubsado is a relatively new CRM system that has helped me tremendously with organization. Dubsado allows me to create lead forms, manage leads/jobs/tasks, create contracts obtain digital signatures, invoice clients, keep track of digital assets, and automate many of my processes.
The first lesson in eCommerce marketing I learned while working at Facebook is that Shopify is by far the best platform for selling products. Their integration with the Facebook Pixel can't be beat and it truly allows for the best in remarketing. When I decided to add eCommerce to my brand, I didn't think twice about Shopify!
Social Media is amazing, but it also is time consuming to keep up with all the posting and maintence. I researched many 3rd party posting tools before choosing MeetEdgar because of it's “recycling” functionality. Being able to upload “evergreen” content once and have it post on an ongoing basis has been a HUGE timesaver.
While MeetEdgar is incredible, it only integrates with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Tailwind is my go-to scheduling tool for Pinterest and Instagram. Together the two tools help me manage the social media platforms that mean the most to me and my bsuiness.
MileIQ in an app for android and iPhone devices. One thing that I always forget to track is my milage (for reimbursement at tax time). With MileIQ installed, the app tracks every commute and allows you to categorize them by swiping left or right (identifying whether the trip was business or personal). Download your records and you're ready for refunds!
I use Canva for most of my graphic design needs. It's a great platform for DIY'ers. Canva offers a variety of free and premium (paid, but only $1, so affordable!) photos and graphic design elements. There are customizable templates to choose from too.
Zapier is a nifty tool that allows you to integrate various platforms together. I use it frequently when I run Facebook Lead Ads, to “zap” the leads from Facebook into my MailChimp account. It integrates with most major platforms – defintely check out all of the possibiities!
Zoom is like skype but way more user friendly. All of our podcast interviews are recorded on zoom with both audio & video. Zoom also allows you to screenshare, which I use frequently for teaching social media topics. They have both free & paid options!
Shareasale is an affiliate marketing network. They work with a ton of big brands who offer rewards for influencers to promote their products. When you use the Shareasale links on your website, and a user clicks through the link and makes a purchase, you earn a small portion of that purchase as a “commission” or “affiliate fee.”
Managing money is not my favorite thing. Luckily, Quickbooks helps make the process easier. It integrates with both my bank and Dubsado so that I can track income and expenses, personally and within my business, with ease.
