After Jamie quit her job, her former employer brought her on as a contractor to help them wrap up some projects and work on some leadership projects – she realized how much she loved that work, but she needed more flexibility – so she decided to translate it into something she could make her own business out of. Her husband is still in the corporate world, but does work remotely so they are able to benefit from some location independence and travel more often.
